What does Minifreakz mean?

Minifreakz is the name I gave to my art, being a young girl. Small, strange comic characteres that i drew everywhere, mostly in my schoolbooks - therefore, the origin of the name.

Later on, my drawings became more and more details. I started creating pictures on other materials than paper and somehow i fell so in love with the name, that Minifreakz remained and turned into

Minifreakz Art Revolution - the beginning of something new.

What techniques do I use on my artworks?

Nothing is secure when i start to paint.

I love to mix up different materials to create something completely different.

But even as an mixed-media artist, i have different constants in my works:

graffiti sprays, acrylics and markers are nearly in every of my works.

On what do I paint?

I usually paint and create my works on canvas.

But i recently started to use new mediums, like wood and recycled materials.

Our actual climatic problem affects also the artistic world and that is why im producing a new collection, based and focused on recycled and clima-friendly materials.

What inspires me?

That is a difficult question to answer.

If i think about it, actually strange things inspire me, but lets start with some "normal" inspirations, like for example: Music.

Music is an important constant companion in my art, i will hardly create something without music.

I also love light and the touch of different textures.

I feel and create with my fingers - that is why the sense of touch is a big part of my inspiration.

The philosophy of Minifreakz

Every artist has a philosophy, a reason why he or she paints. I try to paint my vision of the world, the things that move and touch my soul. I paint my feelings. I use this base to mix it with ancient artistic traditions, when art was there to criticize, to make people think and of course i try to create something that people appreciate and like to decorate their walls with.
